How It Goes Down
This is how our process typically works.
The Brief
We will ask the right questions to uncover the truth about why you need a new website and exactly what it is you’re trying to achieve. Some of these questions may seem a little uncomfortable. In fact, if it doesn’t get a little awkward, then chances are we haven’t done our job.
The Site Map
Once we have all the information we need, we build a visual sitemap to make sure we’re on the same page very quickly about what it is we’re trying to communicate and the best way to structure the information.
The Prototype
Now instead of trying to tell you what we intend to build and hoping you understand my jargon, at this point we will build an interactive prototype in the browser to show you how my solution will work. With no attention to design at this stage, it ain’t pretty, but it gets us close real quick.
The Design
We carefully load all the details onto a platform that’s hoisted to the top of our castle. Then we wait for the lightening to strike. It’s ALIVE!
Just kidding… sort of. We will take all the feedback from the prototype and flesh out the website. Adding proper content and imagery to make the site come to life. Things are starting to get interesting at this point.
The Delivery
Finally, we go back to the lab for a couple of weeks and make sure everything is plugged in and tested before deploying your new website to the hosting server so you can show it off to the whole world. Yay!
Whew! Somebody needs a nap.
