Here's a list of some common questions I get from time to time.
There are a lot of factors that will determine the price of a website, just like the cost of a car may vary based on the features you want to add. Though our website projects generally start in the $2,500 range for basic business sites and range upward depending on your unique needs.
The size and complexity of the website will directly affect the the build time. Typically a basic build takes 4-6 weeks. The time will be agreed upon in a custom proposal if we decide to work together.
Yes. I am glad to help you get this setup. Your domain name is one of the most important things you own as a business owner. You should be the one to register and pay for your domain name so that you maintain control.
I do offer hosting. We eat our own dog food. I wouldn’t host your site anywhere that I wouldn’t host my own.

A Content Management System (CMS) is a tool that allows you to maintain the pages of your website yourself, with minimal technical skill. A CMS allows you to create and edit existing pages, images, products or blog entries. As long as you have an internet connection, you can adjust your website from anywhere in the world.
I do. There is a level of basic training provided for all clients when the site launches and I am available for 30 days after the launch to help smooth out the transition of clients becoming website owners. I include video training with every site that I launch as a way to continue to educate my clients. After 30 days, you can jump on a care plan or I am glad to help sort out questions at my current hourly rate.

There are many aspects that go into achieving good SEO, and one of the most important is the copy (words) on your website. Focus on well written, keyword rich and appropriate content. It's the key.
I don’t write the content directly. I have relationships with some amazing writers. I will offer up their services in our proposal. In my experience, lack of content is one of the main reasons projects timelines get pushed back. Most business owners are the authority on their business, but when it comes to writing content for their website, most aren’t confident in their writing abilities or simply don’t have the time. Let me take this piece of the puzzle and handle it for you so you can focus on your own business.
Yourcompany.com is an example. It’s basically your address on the internet.
Web hosting is basically placing the files that are your website on a server that will make it available to the world. There are some good web hosting companies and many, many bad ones. I won’t name names here, but some past clients have given me plenty of great horror stories. I have put days into researching hosting companies and we place our clients in the best hands that we can. This process isn't a one and done process. I devote several hours a year on research and comparison of the premium hosts to ensure my clients are on a fast, reliable hosting platform.
